Membership Types
There are three types of membership available:
Regular Members
All Ohio County Dog Wardens are eligible for regular memberhip. Only regular members are entitled to hold office or vote in the organization.
Associate Members
All support staff of the Ohio County Dog Wardens' departments. All police officers, sheriff's deputies, or other persons engaged in animal care/control, health and welfare work.
Honorary Members
Persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the Association and all retired members in good standing. Honorary members must be nominated by the Association's regular members and approved by the Board of Directors.

Annual membership - National Animal Control Association and bi-monthly NACA News magazine

Humane Society of the United States bi-monthly magazine subscription - Animal Sheltering
OCDWA website updates on statewide animal control training and special events and legislation
OCDWA monthly business lunch meetings held in all four regions of Ohio on a rotating basis
Weekly e-news on Ohio’s animal control profession and legislative initiatives
Easy access to OCDWA leadership team, with 31 to 36 years of experience, for urgent issues
Application Process
To become a member, complete a membership application and submit the application with a $200.00 check to OCDWA Treasurer:

Membership Renewal
Current members will receive membership renewal forms via
email. Upon receipt of the renewal form, update contact information as necessary
and submit the form with a $200.00 check to
OCDWA Treasurer Mark Kumpf at the address above by December 31st.
Dues this year are reduced from $250.00 to $200.00!
